Biography
Anna is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker, Gestalt-Oriented Psychotherapist, and Yoga Teacher who specializes in integrating the body-mind connection in mental health treatment. Anna has worked with children, adolescents, adults, older adults with end-of-life issues, couples, and families, and adults with chronic and persistent mental illness.
She received her MSW at New York University, graduated from the Center for Somatic Studies, is completing her fourth year of post-graduate study at the Gestalt Associates for Psychotherapy, and after 11 years of teaching yoga, is enrolled in the two-year Teacher Training at the Iyengar Yoga Institute. Combining her understanding of the body with clinical training in psychotherapy, she helps clients explore psychological patterns and how they manifest in holding patterns in the body.
